The Maine Coast RR lasted only a few years, and operated freight service and excursions from Brunswick to Rockland. This line was built as the Knox & Lincoln in 1872. Originally it started at Woolwich, on the other side of the Kennebec from Bath and went to Rockland. I took these pictures in June and July of 1998.
